The currency of the game is the , a fungible ERC-20 token on the Ethereum blockchain. Players use RIOT tokens to enter races, upgrade vehicles, earn in-game rewards, and more. You can buy RIOT on or , or you can get it in the in-game wallet after logging in. See the section in Discord.
Select a race based on the of cars you own.
Review the Race Conditions (Weather, Track, Pit).
Choose a car and driver (based on the Race Conditions) to race with.
Pay the entry fee (gas for your car) using the in-game wallet (skip this step for free races).
Wait for the race to complete (they start when enough people have entered) and see your results! Viewing the race in a 3D video is coming in March 2022.
Winners of the race receive a portion of the prize pool, which is made up from the gas fees for that race. First place earns 50% of the prize pool; second place gets 30%; and third place takes home 20% of the prize pool. Winnings are paid out in RIOT Tokens.
Owners of Mechanic Shops, Racetrack Land, and Gas Stations earn a portion of the car upgrade fees and the race entry (gas) fees in RIOT Tokens. These tokens can be claimed in the Riot Racers website app.
Racers that place in first, second, and third places win RIOT tokens. These tokens are automatically deposited in Racers' in-game wallet and can be withdrawn or used for various in game activities like car upgrades, race entry fees, and asset name changes.
Owners of Genesis Collection Cars can join the . ROC Members earn RIOT tokens at varying levels depending on the ROC level they are in. Other benefits include exclusive Loot Boxes, free limited edition cars, and access to private Discord channels.
